Peak Health closed suddenly in September 2022

Peak Health operated two clinics, one in Toronto and the other in Ottawa, treating erectile dysfunction using “pulse acoustic waves,” commonly known as shockwave.

They operated by promising patients unlimited numbers of treatments for a payment in excess of $5,000. With the sudden closing of the clinics none of the patients has received notification or a refund.

One patient called FullMast stating that after paying and getting three treatments they were booked for a fourth. “When I arrived at their clinic the door was locked. I called and the phone was dead and the website gone.”

Closing the operation without warning and not delivering the services promised is, by most standards, unethical.

The clinic was not operated by a medical doctor

The owner was in fact a dentist who was disciplined by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario in 2013.
